We took Kinsley to her first movie this weekend and she was ecstatic. We saw the new Winnie the Pooh movie. She kept saying "BIIIG Pooh," which in and of itself is pretty funny. She also kept looking at the movie screen and saying "BIIIG TV.":) She almost ate all of her popcorn and was pretty enthralled the entire hour. It was the perfect first movie for a toddler. No scary parts and fairly short. Overall, it was a success.

In other news, we had just a tiny bit of rain this past Friday. We had so much rain that we actually had a river in our street. Our trashcan floated down the river like a boat and ended up 10 houses down. We did NOT have any water in our basement, which was pretty darn great but our backyard did not fair so well. We have two retaining walls and one made it and the other, well, exploded. See for yourself.

On the pregnancy front, things are moving right along. I've been feeling a little anxious lately but that's nothing new for me, unfortunately. In our last appointment during our quick ultrasound the doctor mentioned briefly that my placenta was low and that we would check for placenta previa at our next appointment on Aug. 4. I was so excited about finding out the gender and seeing our precious baby girl that I didn't really process what she said until later. Sooo... that being said, we'll know more at our next appointment. Good news is baby is growing and so is my belly. I'm a little worried about what I'll look like at say, 35 weeks. :)

Maybe you can send some rain down to TX?! :) And please don't worry about your cute little bump! Obviously you haven't seen mine...and we're both around 16 weeks! :)
You're sweet Miss Marci but you, my friend, are preggers with TWINS! A sizable baby bump at 16 weeks is expected. :) Oh well, more of me to love. Ha!
