Port A Trip July 2015

My friend, Sari and I had the opportunity to go to the beach with just the mommies and the (7!!) babes. I recruited my mom and sister (Thank. The. Lord.) and off we went. It was crazy and stressful and oh so much fun! Luckily we scored a 5 bedroom house so we had plenty of room to spread out. :)
Unfortunately Aubrey's vacation didn't start out too well. She spiked a 102 fever almost immediately after walking through the door when we arrived. After some Tylenol and some food/fluids she eventually was back to her normal self.

One of Cade's 5:30 wake up calls. I guess that happens when one is sleeping in the bathroom.

Bowling!

Waiting for Aubrey's ball to make it down the lane.

Papa's birthday!!

One of my most favorite things about being back in SA is getting to celebrate birthdays and holidays with family. Happy birthday Papa!!!
I also love that we were able to surprise Dad by flying Sarah from AZ. His look of confusion and then joy was priceless. :)

Thursday Music Class

During the summer, we're trying to stay busy with at least one trip leaving the house each day. That means music class on Thursdays. We love it and it's FREE which is always awesome. There's a baby class for Cade and an older class for the girls, and there's childcare for the siblings when the other class is going on. Fabulous!! After class we hit the church playground for some socializing and exercise. Unfortunately Mr. Cade has had some tummy thing going on so he didn't get to participate in all the fun. That's why he's grimacing in the pic below. I kept him strapped on my back the whole time and he was ready to get down and run. Poor guy. :(

So excited!!

Since I fell off the edge of the blogger world in 2014, a lot has changed in technology. Turns out there's now "an app for this." I can actually speak my posts into my phone and pull photos right from my phone. This is going to make things much easier. Now I can't promise I'm going to post any more often than once a year but at least now I have the capabilities to. :-)

A lot has happened since our last post; a new home and we are very excited about the potential of this new place, we said goodbye to Trout September of last year (I hope to have an entire post dedicated to our old man one day soon. Best. Dog. Ever.), and everyone has celebrated a birthday including Mr. Cade. So here goes. Jumping right in...
Cades hair has been growing like crazy. The odd thing is the sides of his hair in the back has grown at a much faster rate than the rest of his hair. This has made him appear to have a very classy trucker's hairstyle, or what I like to refer to as side mullets. Well, it was time for them to go. Here is his before and after.
I'm making this short and sweet because it is late and I really just wanted to practice with the app. ;) Success! Good night!!
