Andrea's Babies' Shower!!

One of my BFF's, Andrea, is having twins and I could not be more excited for her!! She is 31 1/2 weeks and is on bed rest but is a total trooper and doing a great job of keeping those sweet boys in her tummy.  All my girlfriends came in to host the shower for Andrea and Colby.  It was so fun seeing all the ladies and celebrating Cooper and Clayton. YAY!

While we were in San Antonio, I took Kinsley swimming for the first time.  It was so fun and look forward to many pool days to come.

Baby Showers Galore!

There is definitely something in the water here in Rochester.  I'm not planning on taking a sip for a while but lots of other ladies in the Big Roch have been imbibing.  Many babies are either on their way or have just arrived.  Here are some of the pictures from just a few of the showers I've attended the past couple of months.

This was at Lesley's shower.  She's sitting to my left and since this picture was taken two babies have joined our crew.  Lesley and David's baby Caleb was born on May 11th and sweet baby Halle, daughter of Kristen (top left) and Brandon was born last week!! Next?? Erica's (bottom right) baby girl is due in August. I went to both Kristen (2nd shower) and Erica's shower but totally forgot to take pictures!! Oops!

This was a 3-person shower. We celebrated Kristen, Jen, and Laura as the mamas-to-be. :) 

Just to give you a taste of what I'm talking about with all the babies, here is the low-down.  Rebecca had Ella last Nov., Nicole has a little boy who's a little over a year, Maggie has two little girls a 1 yr old and a 2 yr old, Tara had Addie in December, Sari (not pictured has Witten who is 1), and Mauri is due this month and already has two little boys at home.  Who's next?!!?  So fun!

Marian is a friend from school.  I was so honored to be invited to her shower after taking a year off, it's nice to know I wasn't forgotten. :) Her little boy, Levi just turned one month on Saturday.  So sweet!

I'm saving Andrea's baby shower for another post.  She's not a Minnesotan, so she falls in a different category. :)  Plus, she's having two!!! So, she deserves her own post. :)

Kinsley is 10 Months Old!

While Kinsley and I were in San Antonio for Andrea's baby shower, our sweet little girl turned 10 months. I took her "watch me grow" picture as soon as we got back, which, by the way, is getting more and more difficult.  Trout is perfect sitting there, anxiously waiting for me to release him, while Kinsley is crawling all over the place and is looking anywhere but at the camera.  She's so darn cute!

At ten months Kinsley:

-Wears size 12-18 month size clothing.
-Wears size 4 Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive (bad diaper rash = expensive diapers)

-Is into everything - she loves to crawl and pull up on things. Her favorite thing is to crawl under and through things.  (See pics and videos below)

-Is still trying to figure out this walking thing.  When we practice with her, she kind of does this bouncing, hop-along thing.  She doesn't quite understand that you have to put one foot in front of the other and I'm totally fine with that right now. :)
-Loves to eat hot dogs, chicken, turkey, bread, peas, diced peaches, pears, mandarin oranges. pineapples, and has recently discovered mac & cheese.  She is definitely my child!

-Doesn't really like grass and will crawl around with her butt in the air on her hands and feet, a sort-of bear crawl.  It's pretty entertaining.
-Has found one sippy cup she likes although she still would rather just drink out of the cup.

-Sleeps for about 11 hours and takes two naps a day.
-Has two teeth on the bottom and 4 coming in on top.  So fun!
-Loves the dogs. Trout is not thrilled about this and Striper could care less, but at least when other dogs visit, they pay attention to her. :)  We watched Emily and Jon's dog, Huey recently and Kinsley was in heaven.  Check out the video. It's hilarious.
