Texas Trip - Part 2

After Kinsley and I visited San Antonio, we headed east to Houston to see Louie's parents and attend a wedding. We had a great time catching up with the Stryker's and Louie and I enjoyed our night out at the wedding knowing Kinsley was in good hands. :)
Carol suggested going for a ride on the Houston train near the zoo since the San Antonio one was such a big hit. This ride was a huge success too! Here she is in her "choo choo" position taking it all in.

We walked around the park after the train ride.  Kinsley is a big fan of her daddy.

After Kinsley went to bed mother and son did one of their favorite activities together... working on a puzzle, drinking a beer and maybe a little chatting here and there. :)

The next day we headed for a little fun in the sun and Kinsley played in the fountains. She was a little timid at first but by the end, she was having a blast and didn't want to leave.

The fountains would shoot out at varying rates and force and sometimes really surprised her!
Garvin arrived home from a trip on Saturday morning and came with us to a farmer's market, the splash park and then out to lunch, although I managed not snap any pictures with him. Ooops! We had a lot of fun in Houston and look forward to a time in the not so distant future where we can enjoy many more Stryker family outings to all the fun things Houston has to offer. Garvin and Carol will have their hands full with our very curious and outspoken child, I'm sure! :)
