Since this is our last fall in Minnesota, we've been trying to take every opportunity to soak up all that a mid-west fall has to offer. It has been unseasonably warm and this has been great for me, especially because I've been able to get a little extra use out of all my summer maternity clothes. Aside from the flip flops on my feet, everything else around here says "fall has arrived." Changing leaves, falling leaves, shorter days, apple orchards, pumpkins, soups and apple cider. I will miss this part of living in Minnesota.
Apple Ridge Orchard
Riding the tractor up to the apple orchard with Daddy.
Kinsley's favorite spot - looking for the perfect pumpkin.
Checking out the "corn plants."
Picking her first apple. She was too small the past two years to pick her own.
Tasting the apple she picked.
She is such a daddy's girl. She followed him all over the orchard.
Kinsley was in charge of getting us out of the corn maze.
She had a good view for the job.
Picking grapes with Daddy but refusing to taste them... even Mama was eating them. They were delicious!
Northwoods Orchard
Best shot I could get of Kylie (Mom's from MN) and Kinsley (Mom's from TX).
Great orchard! They had a ton of animals to look at and feed.
And they had fresh, warm, homemade doughnuts! Yum!
Still working on her doughnut in front of the mums.
Wanted to ride in the wagon.
The mums were beautiful!
On the tractor ride... the VERY bumpy tractor ride. :)
The ladies with their girls. Emily, Kylie, Rebecca, Ellasen, Kristen, and Halle.
One last shot with some pumpkins before leaving.
Barney - LIVE (Yep, we did it.)
Kinsley's not a huge Barney fan - meaning she hasn't watched a lot of Barney videos but I figured she'd enjoy going to see the Barney concert. I was right. She loved it. Louie was a good sport and he enjoyed watching her have so much fun. It was obviously dark for the performance, so we didn't get a lot of great pictures but you'll get the idea. :)
Singing along to the Itsy Bitsy Spider.
Mesmerized by the giant purple dinosaur.
Stopped dancing for a second for a quick pic with Mom.
Here is a (dark) clip of Kins singing and dancing to the Itsy Bitsy Spider with Barney.
At the beginning of the month we went to a kids jazz concert with the Hartzlers. Here is a (dark) clip of Witten and Kinsley busting a move to some cool jazz vibes.
